A direct to DVD sequel released four years after the previous cinematic installment. You don't need to be psychic to know this film will suck, you just need a tolerance for the usual bullshit cliches that inhabits nearly every 21st century horror film.
The bachelor party setting is nothing more than an excuse for shots of strippers jiggling their asses, giving way to the usual horror film bachelor party cliches you'd expect, including the ever-cliched 'Don't get married' speech.
The poor cliches that are the characters aren't worth mentioning, except for Mike, who has to be one of the worst characters ever conceived for a horror film. The cheating wank-stain is made all the more unlikable due to a combination of him getting the worst of the dialogue and never shutting the hell up, leaving the viewer wanting him to die horribly first.
The only way to make someone watch an Uwe Boll film |
The excuse given for the violence is that it's done for the viewing pleasure of rich people with nothing better to spend their money on. Let's not kid ourselves here, it's all pointless and every corkscrew in the hand is done for nothing more than the sake of gore.
A couple of twists prevent this film from being too predictable and dull, but it doesn't make up for the weak script, the overuse of unneeded swearing and the so-called acting.
Hostel: Part III is another pointless entry into the torture porn genre. The weak script, unremarkable characters and bachelor party setting make this a chore to watch, and any film that makes watching strippers jiggle their asses a chore definitely has something wrong with it.

Not that there was any danger of my watching it. I don't have a strong enough stomach for the Hostel movies.
Nice review! While I am a straight female, I appreciated your last line. Too funny! That is definitely a big red flag.
